Default New clutch

Hi, can anyone suggest a decent replacement clutch for my 2001 WRX as need a new one very soon.

Also any ideas on prices?

Cheers for that mate, have checked it out and will most likely go that route - seems to good to be true !!

Apparently it is a seven hour gear box out job to change the clutch, counts me out doing it myself !!

APi fitted a exedy uprated clutch and lightened flywheel and it took them about 4 hours

yeah and they dont give you a warrenty if its a GB

sorry i stand corrected just been back and read the email

there is a 6 month 6000 warrenty on the clutch

but they didnt write down the milage on my car wen it was fitted so we dont know how many miles it had done

therefore nothin i cud do about it

If they didn't write the milage down how is that your problem?

stressymare: I'm not sure what was wrong with yours but I suggest you take it up with APi. Current GB kits (not APi) are sold with warranty against defective parts. I have used this clutch kit for years (100s of drag runs) and run 11s 1/4mile and have only managed to kill it when doing silly things like this

ie nothing wrong with the clutch or fitting, just the user

i dunno hun

they just said that the milage wasnt taken down so they didnt know whether it was within the 6000 mile wen it went or not

and i dont know as i didnt own the car then

so basically there was nothin i could do about it

Not very nice, should have talked them into a discount as a goodwill gesture.
