EGT sensor on JDM STi7?
Hi,
Looking through my PSI datamonitor I notice that the exhaust gas temperature value does not change at all.
A bit more reading on hear its seems a lot of people think the STi's do not have an EGT sensor, however I some time ago I had a leak on on of the joints of my headers and the PSI unit poped up an ECU code for EGT too high, so how would this be possible if there is no EGT sensor?
There is definatly a sensor of sorts in the down pipe, is this a EGT sensor or a Lambda sensor? I though the lambda is in the up pipe?
Can anyone defiantly tell me how many and where the Lambda sensors are located or where the EGT sensor would/would not be?
Cheers
Dan

Newage cars have the primary oxygen sensor in the drivers side exhaust manifold, just before the up-pipe and a second oxygen sensor at the end of the downpipe/centre section.
Only the WRX is fitted with an EGT sensor - in the up-pipe.
