Default Re-programming instrument cluster on 2005 Spec C

I've had my spec c for a few months now and what's been bugging me is that my dash has the ability to do the defi style start up but on the spec c's this function is disabled but on the sti's its fine. Now I have spoken to Litchfields who say that it is possible to do by reflashing the chip in the dash with the sti software.Iain is a bit reluctant to do this on my car (petty I know) as my car wasn't p8rchased from him and apparently its a service he offers to his own customers. Is there anywhere else I can get this job done or does anyone know what software I need to do it myself
cheers

He still charges his own customers for the cluster sweep so I don't know why he can't do it for you anyway.

on legacys you can turn it off and on quite easily and it does have a function it's not just there to look good when it does it!
