Check light flashing.
Hi to all, ive not posted on here for a while, but now a proud scoobie owner again Im back.
Ive just purchased a 99' UK turbo 2000, the car is spot on & was a bargain find.
The only problem I have is that ive just gone to reset my ECU by connecting the green plugs under the column & noticed two black plugs disconnected which appear to be in the same part of the loom as the green ones.
I connected them & the engine check light flashes all the time now, ive reset the ecu aswell & it still flashes.
Im uncertain what the black plugs are for could anybody shed some light on this for me. Has somebody disconnected them to hide a fault? Or should they be disconnected.
Help would be gratefully apreciated, Cheers Carl.

Both the green and black male and female pins are to do with accessing your ecu for fault codes and re-setting the ecu. Both should be left unplugged.
here is everything you need to know about those handy green and black wires:
ecu reset/fault code info
hope that helps
