Bumper cutting to fit a fmic help wanted
Hi ,i am fitting a Hybrid fmic to my sti ra 95 and getting to the stage of cutting the bumper to fit. What ill like to know is do i keep my vents that feed air to the front discs or do i have to remove them?

I never saw any mention of this beforehand (and I'd read just about every thread there was) but no, you will not be able to keep your air vents. The pipework will fit behind the bumper corners (just!) but only with the plastic air vent inserts removed. The offside under-bumper splashguard can stay in place, I never had an undertray between the bumper and sump so I don't know whether that stays or goes, the nearside splashguard will need a little cutting but not much.
The airflow that normally is directed straight at the brake discs by the inserts in the bumper, just goes straight into the void in the wheelarch instead. It doesn't seem to have affected brake cooling on mine.
