group n gearbox ..info needed

i have an sti ra with dccd.

i have been offered a group n rebuild kit with shaft syncros and bearings. but no gear cogs

will this make my box alot stronger to handle more power?

From: 10.68 QT mile in 2007 2.33 Type R ** Current 2002 Spec C 2.33 Track prepped.

Not really, you would need the full kit gears included.
