Default Throttle position sensor

I have taken out and cleaned my TPS, when I put it back I used my SECS monitor to ensure I had it back in the same alignment as before, however I was wondering, the monitor shows the throttle to be 6% open at idle, is this correct, or should the idle position be 0% open?

Wide open throttle on the read out shows as 80%

Don't know about the 0% end but it should read 100% at WOT. This is important as the ECU uses this to determine engine load. If it thinks you are at 80% it will advance ignition and lean off the fuel risking det. Drive off boost until you resolve this or you could damage your engine.
