To start off with I must say im only 14 as it tends to confuse most people. I have a general intrest in cars. At the moment we have a Silver Mondeo ST220 but its comming upto 4 years old (second MOT next Wednesday) so weve just ordered a forester. Spec:-

• 2.5 XT
• Urban Grey Matellic
• Ivory Leather
• Sports Font Grill

Now were going to run it in for about 1000miles before we thrash it about or even think about modding it. Basicly Im looking to find out what sort of mods are availible for it. Were not looking for things major but single things like, exhaust, filter, cams, intercooler remap, etc. So just wondering whats out there avilible for it?

Generally most Impreza tuning bits work on Foresters.

www.subaruforester.com is where the Forester owners hang out, and there is a European forum.

 

As Ricardo has said, almost anything for the Impreza (exhaust back boxes are the one part that is NOT compatable at all!) will fit the Forester.

If Warranty is important, then the Prodrive perf pack is a good place to start.

If your prepaerd to have a little more potential hassle then the same effects can be had much cheaper elsewhere....

Exhaust is a good start, be sure you know what is wanted and Foresters tend to have worse cabin noise than the similar part on an Impreza, Hayward and Scot well recomended.

Filter - don't bother, the one in there is fine to over 300bhp and you won't be getting there!

Cams/intercooler will take you right out of warranty, forget cams anyway, a front mount intercooler or late Impreza STi one is a good mod.

FXT is the same engine as an Impreza WRX, yes.
