Default STI 440 Injectors ?

I have a set of injectors from an Sti RA V-limited engine.

Am I right in thinking they are 440cc ? A friend of mine has a '95 WRX with a few mods and wants to know if he would get any gain from fitting these injectors to his car ?

Yes they are 440's
Yes they can be made to fit the Pre96 fuel rails but you will need to get Phase 2 to Phase 1 rail converters (about £35 from Carl Davey or Zen)
No you won't gain anything by just fitting them, infact you may lose a little as it will overfuel slightly on boost.

You would need to get the standard ECU remapped (using this :ESL Live Spec)
OR fit an aftermarket ECU such as a Apexi, GEMS; Simtek, Autronics, Link et....etc...

I think they are phase 1's. They look the same as my phase 1 rails.

If my friend won't benefit from using them I will sell them. How much are they roughly worth ?

So...I may have to take back what I said... I saw the 'V' and assumed STi V
If it's a Pre96 STi V-Ltd 555 i.e Dark Blue.
It will have 380cc the same as all the others.

Well, they are yellow injectors if that helps ?

The engine came from an STI RA V-Limited,it has a closed deck block and the 5th injector ontop of the inlet manifold ?

As there yellow they sound like 440's
what year car was the engine from ?
IIRC the 5th injector was only on Pre96 cars.
The injectors may already have rail converters fitted see : Carls Scooby Site ver.2

IIRC the engine was from a '95 car. I can't remember seeing rail converters fitted but I will have to look and see.
