Default handbrake adjustment

Can anyone tell me how to adjust the handbrake on a MY99 classic? I had a look underneath but could not see an obvious adjuster. I put new pads on recently but this did nothing to lower the lever angle.

thanks

Mike

Handbrake is on shoes inside the disc,

There are two rubber grommets at the base of the backplate, remove them and you can put a screwdriver through the hole to adjust them, the movement is front and rear, I can't remember which way does what though sorry.

I thought normally you adjust the level from inside the car? On my old car I removed the handbrake trim and there is an adjustment screw there
