Default New Age Or New Problems ???

hi i have just got a new 2.5wrx and have heard of some horror stories from dealers about the engine.

mine is a cyprus import. should the engine be any different than one from anywhere else???? they had one in that blew a headgasket at 15000 and needed two new heads and a turbo....

also another dealer has had two uk ones which blew third main bearing and needed new engines....

can be fuel related i hear even though a 2.5wrx is stated on the cap and in handbook to use 95 ron and sti 98 ron... which would be the best and correct fuel to use...

98 will always be the "best" for it for a few £ more dont see why any one on scoobynet would use 95
