I used carb cleaner. Squirt and rinse, squirt and rinse.

Lot's of cack came out so presumed it worked. Oh, I disconnected the BCS first.

Not sure if your car has them but i connected the two green test wires under the drivers side dash and put my bcs into test mode then hit it with brake cleaner, works a treat now

Connect them and turn the ignition on but do not start the car, the solenoid should click continuosly and the rad fans should kick in too, best using brake or carb cleaner not read anyone using wd40
