Hi

This isn't for the Scooby, but I'm sure someone will be able to help!

I'm trying to find a thermostat that is held in a self contained housing (ie, not as part of the engine block) that can be mounted in the middle of a radiator hose.

Any suggestions as to where I can get one, or a car or bike that uses one?

Thanks

Duncan

I cant be sure but I think one or more of the VW golf petrol engines has a thermostat that is inside the top hose.I think it was an 95 "n" reg. Hope this gives somewhere to start looking!!!!!!
