I've just bought a 2002 WRX Wagon (my first Subaru - can't wait to pick it up!) and it is completely standard, except for the exhaust.

I'm just sorting out insurance, got a really good quote from Privilege but they want to know if the exhaust increases the power output, and if so by how much.

I've spoken to 2 dealers and got conflicting advice (one says nothing, one says about 5-10bhp). I've also searched around and again seen different answers, varying from nothing to 4%.

Can anyone give me a definitive answer?
