All you got to do is ask Pete:

Subaru Turbo List - Newbies & FAQs - NASIOC

Some useful info there also have a look in the projects bit of sheffieldscoobys for my findings on the STI intercooler temps

Hope you and the little one are well

H4rdy,

The VF22 will NOT make 400hp no matter what the americans say.

It has a fragile compressor wheel and is know to shatter at much above 1.3 bar.

A TD05- 20G would be a better bet.

I did buy a VF22 and then sold it on a while back as it won't cut it in todays turbo market. The spool is also very slow and comes on full boost about 4k.

Do a search and you will find nothing good to be said about the 22.

Wayne.

Agree with Wayne.

The VF22 is not a 400bhp turbo, it's laggy as heck, and self destruct at the blink of an eye if you push them.

You will hate it compared to the VF35.
