I have a Wrx Type RA 1996, 280 hp.

Mods:
Walbro 255
Platinum sparkplugs grade 7
K/N Induction kit
Forge dumpvalve
Blitz dual boostcontroller
Gm 3 bar mapsensor
FMIC

I have bought a Power FC. Going for a remap the 22:e sept. My questions:

1. I have 380 cc injectors, right? Little weird, becouse if the engine have 280 hp original, and the 380cc can handle up to 300 bhp? Is the Type RA have larger injectors?

If not, do I need to upgrade the injectors pushing over 300 bhp to 550cc injectors before the remap?

WRX Type Ra had 240 Bhp as standard.

I would upgrade to 440's if I was you.

I have a set here that you can have for a good price if you want them?

Which Car is a WRX STi

WRX type RA 09/96, GC8D47D, EJ20K DW6HD, 280 PS

 

So Is it the STI or the std RA Wrx? unless you change the Turbo 440s should be enough to max it out.

Its a std Wrx RA. Just wanted to show that a WRX STi Version 3 "GC8D4ED", and a WRX type RA "GC8D47D" has equal horsepowers. How much can the 440cc handle?

440s will max out around 330bhp at standard pressure, but for much more than that 550s would be better upto around 430bhp

 

Sorry, I do appologise, it does say 280 Bhp, I was thinking of the earlier ones
