my95 wrx wagon wont start

Default my95 wrx wagon wont start

hi guys on a morning when i go start my car it turns over but wont fire up
i've done a ecu diagnosis and it throws up codes 22 & 24 is that idle valve and crankshaft sensor would this be related to the problem
the car did this the day after i bought it but then suddenly started
i'm at my wits end regarding this
does anyone know where the fuel pump relay is
cos i know its either not sparking or fuel cut somewhere just need to find it
has anyone else had similar problems
please let me know

ps.
the car has an hks air filter,blitz zorst and not known make dump valve

A faulty crankshaft sensor will definitely stop the car from starting, it is used by the ECU to time everything in to the engine.

Try popping the sensor out (it is held in by one bolt) and cleaning it, sometimes they get caked in crud.

Above and behind the front crank pulley (under the alternator)
