Default STi-3 & STi-4 Difference?

Hi Guys,

I Have seen an STi 4 2DR Coupe which i'm hoping to buy, just wanted to know were there any engine differences made from the version 3 to 4 or was it just cosmetic improvements i.e. Dial's, Momo Steering...etc

Cheers

engine wise they are pretty much identical.. some talk in the past of the cam profile being more agressive on the sti3 but never had them side by side to compare.

The STi 4 has a smaller turbo. In standard form, this is better as it spins up more quickly.

STi 3 = VF23 turbo, STi 4 = VF24 turbo. As TB says the VF24 spins up faster but the VF23 is better at the top end due to the P20 exhaust housing as opposed to the P18 for the Vf24.
