STi 6 - normal boost psi?
Previously, I had some rather questionable gauges and the boost gauge would read about 23-24psi before dropping slightly to 20psi if I kept my foot down. I thought this was high, but put it down to the gauge not being accurate.
The car is pretty standard apart from a remap and sports cat, but does go like stink when I want it to. Never had a problem with her and she never misses a beat.
Anyhow, I've just replaced the gauges with better quality stepper gauges (including a new boost sender thingy) and I get much the same reading. So on the basis that the reading is right, rather than both gauges being wrong by the same amount, does 23psi peak, dropping to 20 psi seem high?

What year is your car? - Not sure what year a STi-6 is. I have a 2003 UK WRX sti PPP and it boosts at around 23psi and drops to 20psi. The car is standard except for the Prodrive upgrade.
