speed freak

i have broken needles on dash clocks fitting white dials i was using the car with them broken and my engine light came on i was told how to bring up and to clear the fault code it would'int clear the code and i had to get another dash when new dash was fitted it cleared but now i have less power now than before.
what is my problem
