Default Missing pipe

Had a nosey under the bonnet of my 99 uk and noticed a pipe missing off the vacuum thingy behind the drivers side headlight. Any ideas why this would be? I havent had the car long and I think it had a few mods done and perhaps removed. The pipe should connect to a bit that says second purge which should then lead to the airbox.

Also noticed a pipe that has a screw in the end of it, this leads to a t section that has been spliced which then runs across the top of the engine, any ideas?

Save your time and money. Someone on here will be able to help, with or without a picture.
