what would be the best water rad available for GC8 ej20 ?
I have a JDM STI type R v5 (my99). I think it has a calsonic rad. what would be the best thing to do as it is damaged. change it for same one? or is there any better one ?

 

The standard rad is fine at keeping water temps down, i would stick with that as alternatives can be quite costly.

 

Recently put a Haste rad in my type RA.
Costly and a swine to fit as it's MAHOOSIVE, but temps are kept cooler

 

Got mine from this chap, took about 2 weeks to deliver though and post was V.expensive. Did knock some off the buy it now price though. Could not find an all aluminium rad for decent money in the UK.

 

Just found this also, looks lie a V.Good deal to me even with shipping. £360 for a FMIC and an all aluminium rad delivered to the UK.

I haven't got heat issue yet, but as mine is damaged, I thought it might be an opportunity to fit something even better while swapping a new one...

I have the opportunity to have a custom coppercore one made. what do you think of this ?

 

I bought a JVC KW-AVX800 head unit off them last week. The unit was sitting in my hands less than 48 hours later! They also declared the unit as only being £25 for customs and I didn't even ask them to do that .
