Common issue.
Suggest:
Put the nut back on for about 3 threads.
sit behind the wheel and 'slap' each side of the rim with the palm of your hands so vibrating the wheel, but not at the same time, but left-right-left-ri in rapid succession. This worked for me on mine. When it releases it is very sudden indeed and putting the nut back on saves your face!

If no success with that, soak a towel in boiling water and with excess run off, place the towel tight into the hub, so the warmth expands the alloy hub.
If you are super careful, a heat /hot air gun will do the same, but be careful!
Rattle the wheel when the hub is hot.

After THAT...? hit it harder.

put nut back on a few threads.get an 1/2 inch exstension bar 4/6 in long,a hammer,a friend.sit in drivers seat pull steering wheel with reasonable pressure towards you,get friend to place exstension bar inside wheel nut and hit it with hammer.should now be shocked loose, crude but effective!
