Hi People,
i have a 1995 sti v2. When setting off in first gear there is a strange noise coming from the engine it sounds like a pneumatic drill type of thing but obviously not as loud!! When i put the clutch in or put it into second the noise goes, no warning lights on or anything like that,still drives ok etc. Took it into prosport today for them to have a listen to and they say its in the gearbox. Oh dear says i expecting big bills for repairs etc so i was just wondering if any of you chaps could shed any light on exactly what it might be or have you experienced the same at some time or other? .I allready have a scoobynet member who says he will take a look at it for me [cheers 500] but any other suggestions or even cash donations to the cause
would be most welcome.
