Induction Kit Advice...
i have 1995 jdm impreza and my current hks cone induction is a bit tired so am looking to get another but dont know whether to stay with hks or go to k&n...
the obvious one is 57i but i have now got a simtek ecu which allows me to ditch the MAF sensor all togther so i am wondering if i could just bolt on a k&n typhoon...
theres not a specific typhoon model for my car but if i am got to just bolt on does this make a difference?
your advice and help is apprecited,
cheers.

Although many on here will tell you induction kits are the devil's work my RCM kit was though it was mapped to suit and had a cold air feed.

Is it the filter or pipework thats shot? If its just the filter (dubious name for something the HKS steel thread items are not actually very good at) then why not just replce the filter on the end of the pipework as that will be about 1/2 to a 1/3 the price. There will be a K/N thats the right size for sure, probably also Piper-X etc etc.
