RAD PIPE SUCKED FLAT?
just been out to check engine (weekly routine) and found my bottom radiator pipe to be sucked flat?
i opend the expansion tank cap, coolent level ok. squezed the bottom pipe a few times and it opend back up.
ive been out in the car tonight coverd 10 miles, stoping every few to check pipes. its ok now but im quite conserned!
could it be water pump or thermostat?
my cars a 93 wrx.
any help will be good.
thanks,
stew

it could be the water pump or the thermostat, thermostat is easier to change but it could also be the pipe itself, if it's old it could loose it's strength, in which case i'd change them all tbh just in case another one goes the same way? might be an excuse to put some nice samco on it?

it's going flat because as it cools it can't suck water back in so it starts to collapse the weakest hoses first the first place i would be looking would be the rad cap.
