Can someone tell me what this means. My check engine light comes on when i give my 96 wrx boost when driving, i have looked at the code it is saying there are two faults with it, one is 31- throttle position sensor and the other one is 22 - knock sensor. Can someone tell me what they mean and what i need to do.Thanks

 

you need to change the 2 sensors, one is at side of the throttle butterfly & the other is bolted to the block underneath the intercooler

 

rather than just change them, i'd get a dealer/specialist to hook it up to the computer and get it confirmed that they are both goosed. It might just be that your ECU needs resetting, you will need to have that done anyway after to clear the fault codes from the memory
