Removing Intake Silencer 4 better sound?
I heard about this and so I went out to my car and removed the plastic scoop just in front of the grill with the hole in the back of it...I'm guessing this is the silencer
...btw I have a 2007 N/A Impreza 2.5i...I couldn't tell the difference in the sound so I put it back on for the colder air...has anyone else tried this? If yes, then could u tell a difference in the sound of the intake?

Wouldn't have thought it'd make a difference, maybe you need an induction kit with a cold air kit to hear anything. I know that these are not advisable on a turbo below 350 BHP, but not sure as yours is N/A
