Default Turbo troubles!

Went to rolling road friday(tourque of the devil) been told i may have a worn turbo/seals oil smoke coming out of exhaust on overrun only the turbo i have fitted is a TD05H been told hard to refurb better to get a new one seen this one on ebay(usa)

eBay Motors: TD05H 16G TURBOCHARGER TD05 H TURBO CHARGER ECLIPSE EVO (item 260140138795 end time Jul-22-07 18:44:27 PDT)

Does anyone know if this will fit my 94sti import as this is a lot cheaper than buying in uk

My problem is it says on the advert fits ECLIPSE EVO/TALON/PLYMOUTH LASER does anyone know if this will fit my scoob as its the same turbo number td05h

i have changed seals and bearings on my td05h it was an easy job, hardest part was removing/refitting the big circlip that holds the compressor housing on,

the refurb kit cost about £50-60

no special tools required just internal circlip circlip pliers and a small flat blade

i dont see balancing is an issue as you are only changing bearings/seals

try home or have a search on fleabay for rebuild kits
