Default How to remove wind deflectors?

I have an sti 3 with those stupid and useless 'stuck on' wind deflectors.
Apart from taking the car to a bodyshop, does anyone have any tips for removing them with out removing the paint undernieth?

Regards
Chris

Could use a hair dryer to soften the adhesive before pulling them off.
Then use a good solvent too remove the residue eg Autoglym bug and tar remover

Yea, thats what I was thinking. Just wondered if anyone has actually tried that method. I don't want to 'try' something and end up ruining the paintwork.

The hairdryer method is one of the best possibilities tbh. You don't have any clips on them at all? Although mine had the adhesive, I also remember there being a few clips running along them too. Citrus-based degreaser/adhesive label remover is also an option for the removal of the entrails.
