Question

I've got a Terzo & 2mnths ago I had a full scoobysport system fitted, and really thats all I've done so far. After having it done I noticed great improvements on pik up, pull away and throughout the gears.

Im still very pleased with the system, but over the last couple of weeks I've really noticed im having to put my foot down more and more to get the same effect as of when I first had it fitted.

Some may say im getting to used to it but this is really not the case, cos im 1 of those who notices slight differences & there must be others out there

It seems to be responding slower, usually foot down & ZIPP, but now its foot down and errrmmmm ZIP, its has become very noticeable.

1st noticed after using optimax, so im back on ESSO super to try & cure it, but nothing has changed.

It was only serviced 5k ago so it cant be that it needs 1.

Could the weather causethis problem i.e too bloody cold??

Wondered if maybe the zorst system may need tightening??

I dunno but I wont be recomending OPTIMAX to people with older cars, it really seems to be the problem since using the stuff.

Any thoughts or ideas would really be appreciated to get back my ZIPPY (BUNGLE)

Thanks a lot

Wink

You can find a zip in any good tailor shops (sorry couldn't resist it)

Have you tried an ECU reset?

Cool

sounds like your wastegate solenoid may be contaminated with oil, clean it and the 2 pipes with carb cleaner... there should be instructions on here how to do it somewhere....

I'll give them 2 things a go, I know that this is talked about a lot on here ie. wastegate, ECU reset, but is there anyone who knows of a site that would be able to guide me step by step on doing these things to my car.

I hope so, cos im not really mechanically minded

Thanks again

there may be a leak in your air intake duct or, more likely, the plastic intercooler feed pipe (underneath).
