dump valve query

hi iv just gone back to standard filter box on my94wrx from a k&n and now i have no dump valve sound used to be bloody loud just wondered if any of you guys would know cheers

This is normal, instead of hearing the air being dunped back in the system via the cone filter, the airbox insulates the sound.
