I“ve got a WRX My04 with upgrated enginge from a My02 Legacy RSK Twinturbo. Just the rods are oem parts. Actually the engine makes 242whp/303wtq with an IHI VF35 at 1.5Bar tapering to 1.2. This power is for my engine no problem.

I would like to swap the IHI for a big 16g. My goal is +/- 270whp/350wtq. Unfortunately i haven“t swap the oem rods for something better one. My question is; can I install the big 16g without changing the rods??
