Max hp on a standard V3 with mods?
what the maximum boost and hp i can push on a standard v3 type r to be tune on 96 octane with the following mods:
-front mount intercooler
-decat exhaust n downpipes
-apexi air filter?
-standard fuel pump n injectors
-apexi power fc
-ngk pfr7
I had it tune before with ang emanage blue and only got 230hp at the 4wheel dyno. how does this equate to horsepower at the fly?

From my own experiences with my Sti V3 (same engine i think) with a stock engine internals with your spec i would expect about 315 bhp max.
The injectors will be close to max output, but the FMIC will keep things well for a lot longer compared to a TMIC.
To move upwards from where you are will need a whole lot more, but a safe reliable 360 can be had for about £1500 and your gearbox will survive all day long.
Graham.

I have 300bhp at the hubs on a V2 and have broken the gearbox 3 times this year. Its a TY752 RA box.
I know some have not had a problem on 350+ BHP but plenty have.
I am on PFC, 550 injectors, walbro pump, standard td05, FMIC, exedy clutch and lightened flywheel, plus usual exhaust mods and induction kit.
I have mine mapped on the road and on a dyno. The dyno brought the best results.
Any changes you make probably need a tweek on the PFC. Fitting my FMIC threw my car out and developed a flat spot at 4k rpm.
Just be aware, I was advised the box could take the power, it didnt!
I guess its down to driving style. I drive mine hard.

i had 240hp at the wheels only but torque difference is now huge and was tune for 96 octance only as this is the highest octane available for our market. So how does this equate to horsepower of the motor? Is my tuning just about on spot with you guys ?
