Default Running Light Stays On

Yesterday I noticed my running lights stay on when I turned off the ignition, I checked to make sure the headlight switch was off - which usually didn't matter because they would auto turn off when I turned the car off. I was up camping and didn't want a dead battery so I ended up pulling the 20 amp fuse under the hood which killed them. Do you guys have any ideas of what this might be? Is a switch bad? I didn't see any blown fuses. Oh - by the way it's a 01 Suburu Outback Legacy with the H3. Thanks in advance for your help.

Parking lights switched on?? Dont know where they are on the leggy,But on the impreza there on the indicator/light stork. There is a second switch further in towards the steering column cowling. Turn this and the side lights stay on
