What are the benefits of fitting a replacement (e.g. GGR Double Piston Dump Valve).

Mainly sound and slightly better throttle response. No power gains. Mainly for heavily modified cars running big boost. I have the Blitz blow off valve on my MY00 coz I like the sound. I noticed better throttle response but no gain in power.
