Unhappy Servicing- too much oil, leaking rear diff

I had a 36month service on my JDM STI last month done at my local subaru garage (discount, location etc lead to this decision)

At Bob Rawle's yesterday Bob noted that they have put too much oil in - it is over the max line by some way.

Also when the 3" system was being fitted by my mechanic he noted a slight leak in the rear diff! (lsd oil was changed)

Now the later may have happened post service but to put too much oil in didn't

Should I take it back and ask for some to be removed/replaced?

The service invoice says 4.5l of Magnatec

Or bite the bullet and get my mechanic to remove some/replace all?

On a brighter note Bob done the magic -360lbft [Y]

If it's knocking out that much torque I would suggest a good quality full-synthetic oil anyway! I'm sure Bob would have recommended that?
It's possible that the rear diff. driveshaft oil seals could be weeping a little - it's not unkown. Also, try nipping up the flange bolts either side of the diff.
Have you checked the gearbox oil level? They should have changed that at the 3 yr service, so it's worth checking?

I didnt know what oil was in there until i got back- he did mention he hoped it wasnt Magnatec! hmmm...

I think i'll get another oil change and purchase the oil myself- do the warm up times for fully synthetic vary over semi's?

invoice says gearbox oil changed too
