a friend has a standard k plate wrx and he wants to bolt a turbo on that will be good for 450 bhp. what else will he need to get these figures.. i know its a daft question but he's addament thats what he wants to do no matter the price.. and if you could put the price next to each item that would be even better.........many thanks .........james........

A few suggestions in this thread

 

the Turbo which will need some messing to get on as it will be front entry and need the inlet pipe to go under the inlet manifold plus

fmic
air filter
fuel pump
enginemanagement - Motec, GEMs, Apexi PowerFC plus Z32 Maf or Mafsim etc
injectors
fuel pressure regulator

plus a few other nice to have items

then the clutch will slip, change that and he'll break the gearbox..

Current choice of turbo would have to be an MD321T
