Default 6k and 7k ecu, what's different?

I've been after a 6k ecu for a while and not found one, but have sourced a 7k which is supposedly from the same car (sti v2) is this correct? and does anyone know what the differences are?

Cheers

Would that be from eblag by any chance?

I'm pretty sure that the 6K is from an STI and a 7K is from a UK Turbo.

7K is STi 2 RA. slightly different map to the 6K, but similar boost.

Would the 7k be ok to use in a 95 jdm wrx, or is the engine internals not strong enough to cope with the extra boost and fueling??

The redline is set higher on a 7K, so you'd be ill advised to use the extra 500rpm it gives you. Boost and fuel are similar.
