after some hard driving last night i parked up and realised that i had a water leak coming from back of the engine, close to the gearbox.when i looked under the bonnet from the passenger side i noticed a pipe with no hose on the end of it. Its a L shape pipe that is virtually centre of the car and goe's off into the dash area. i could see that water had come from this pipe as there was a wet patch directly below it on the sump guard!! can someone please tell me what the pipe is please.....

Does your car have Aircon? If so this is totally normal, the aircon creates water in the form of condensatio when it cools the air, the pipe is there to get rid of the water created.
