Are my rear discs solid or vented ? I have a 2000 reg impreza 2000 turbo and im not sure which it has as i need to get a new set.

Its either:
5 Stud Vented Rear 266mm x 18mm
or
5 Stud Rear Solid 266mm x 10mm

 

Have a look through the spokes of your wheels at the edge of the disc. Should be easy enough to see if its slotted or not. Worst case take the wheel off then you must be able to see.

 

Should be vented on that year

 

Got to be careful with terms here.
Slotted generally refers to the grooves imprinted into the disc like this:


vented refers to a gap between both sides of the disc as shown here:


you need to check to see if sideways on (ie flat profile) the discs look like in the second shot.

 

Defiantly not slotted/grooved, its hard to see on the rear if they are vented or not but I’m pretty sure they are I just thought I would ask on here first - Thanks for all your help though.
