Default Tyre question

Hi,
I have just bought a 01 bugeye wrx and have noticed there are different size tyres in front and back. All bridgestones Front: 215/45 17 Rear: 225/45 17. Anybody know why? Will need to replace the fronts soon but rear have plenty of tread left, do I get same size thats fitted or make them all the same?

Thanks for help guys

IIRC bug WRX tyres should be 215/45/17. Odd sizes front and rear are wrong and will wind up the centre diff and potentially do damage. Sounds like you should get 4 tyres of the correct size and try and sell the 225s to an STi owner.
