just swapping some parts and have got a 3 port boost solenoid to replace my 2 port but the electrical plugs are different shape. the origional one is oval with a black/white cable and a red/yellow cable, my 3 port has a round plug with a red cable and a black cable. HELP PLEASE

 

You need to either cut the connectors off and connect red/yellow to red and black/white to black or devise a way to keep the connectors.

I kept the connector on the loom and removed the crimps from the solenoid connector housing, trimmed them up a bit and then pushed them into the loom connector.
