Smile dump valves

Just i the process of tuning my newage WRX impreza MY02, just wondering if anyone could suggest what would be the best dump valve to buy and would it require any messing under the bonnet after it was fitted or do they cause any major problems.

Cheers

Hi there, i have a GFB Deceptor VTA dump valve on my 02 wrx and it`s never caused me any probs. Does use a bit more fuel now. It`s fully adjustable for loudness and at what RPM you want it to go off. There is lots of debate about which one to have and to be honest you already have one on anyway from standard. Only took about 10mins to fit and no additional fitting kit is needed. Got it from scoobyclinic. Hope this helps

A friend of mine has an HKS SSQV and it sounds awesome. Quite costly, but worth the money.

Thought the standard recirculating DV was the best option on newage cars?

Should be someone along shortly to explain why!

LOL it's the best option on ANY Impreza. I wouldn't be surprised if there are more threads on Scoobynet started by people regretting replacing their standard OE dump valve than any other subject.
