Default adjusting HKS Bov??

So which way does what when adjustingth bov, i have got it in the centre at he mo, sounds alright, all be it, quite a high pitch chirp

surely tightening the bolt in (clockwise) would make it stiffer and not as loud?????
Would like someone to comment cus feel mine is dumping too much!!

got it fitted then mate . if i remember correctly winding it in is to get more of a chatter? and winding it out gets more of a pssssssstttt!!!! that what i was told anyway.

i have the hks ssqv on a my00 classic
mine is a really high pitch chirp and i would prefer a chatter
how do i adjust it? all my instructions were in japanese

Is it not a case of changing the insert for a purple one? (silver and gold being the 'chirp' ones).

Eventually got round to putting it on today mate, as well as my ninja back box and 2nd de-cat, just need to save the pennys for a re-map and some pff7's Sounding good now, but the mrs hates it, so she can walk from now on

i have a pinky purple insert,wahay !!! and mine is a high pitch chirp !

i was told, screwing the screw in makes it dump only at high boost, the further out it is,the sooner it psssttt at lower boost levels

cheers rig will have a look under bonnet tomorrow when im at nbo, (waiting for my car to be pulled out of the mud!!) lol
