Axleback Exhausts - Classic vs Newage

Hi Guys,

Can anyone tell me if the Newage STi will accept an axleback exhaust backbox from a Classic?

The single mounting bracket towards the back of the silencer box is different on the classic to newage.... think you can get away with cutting it off and just use the other two to support the silencer.....

as above the front box hanger goes in opposite directions, everything else lines up though and the bracket can be bent thro' 180deg normally..........
