i got mine off the group buy on here i dont know if its the same one but if it is it can be a pain in the ***.measure round widest part of turbo and measure the length you will need and then trim it down to size so it slightly overlaps.
then stitch the ties to each end of the cut turbo blanket, remove acuator arm and cut a hole in the jacket for the arm to fit through.
then put jacket round the turbo and pull the ties tight, refit atuator arm.
wear gloves and it will smell abit for about a day once fitted.

Yep I read those too....Anyway took things into my own hands and wrapped the down pipe, used some plastic cable ties to start with so I didnt waste the stainless ones, once wrapped put on stainless ties and cut off plastic ones...While I was laying under the car swearing as you do in these situations. I din't notice that someone had washed out a cement mixer and I was laying in the path of the water untill it was dripping off the down pipe....
I know i'm rambling but the point is....The water helped to make the bandage tight and stopped the small particles heading in my direction layed on the floor...Also when you run the car for 10 mins after fitting the bandage will dry out and I'm sure it is a tighter fit than when dry. But I wouldnt recomend soaking the bandage but a spray with a mister might help...
I'm sure someone in the know will add their comments...Or maybe try it..who knows...
It looked pretty good too. Unusually for me working on a car.
