Default Z4 ecu

Hello I keep seeing Z4 ecu's for sale that say you just bolt em in and they will raise the power of a uk turbo to 240 bhp is this true as i have 1994 uk turbo and am looking for a bit more oomph

not unless yours is a TD05 turbo no, think it was 1993-1996 imports used them, i know my old 1995 WRX had a TD05, but then again it also had the Z4 ECU as standard

well mine has the TD05 Turbo so should it be bolt on power then??

Z4 is 260ps (256bhp) if you definately have a TD05 then i don't think you should have any problems another option is to look at www.polarperfromance.co.uk as the options on here imo are better then the z4 (although more expensive)
