checking water levels

Default checking water levels

1st, how do u check correctly the water levels as there is the tank on the left near pas steering reservoir and the thin right one on right hand side with overflow pipe. how do i know there is enough water and how do i check please?

Header tank (square one with pressure cap normally) take off the cap and check the level, my water level is normally near the top of the tank and i've never had any problems with the water since i've owned my car (4 years)
