Sensors in down pipe!!!
I brought a full system last night and have come to fitting it tonight!!!
My 97 import wrx has 2 lambda sensors on the down pipe. One by the turbo and one right at the other end, whereas the new downpipe only has a hole for one (near the top end)
Is there any other option apart from drilling and welding a boss in?
Also would you reccomend anything else when fitting a full system?
Many thanks

Hi mate yours might be a different set up to mine but on my 94 import the only lambda ive got is at the collectors on ma manifold. I was told that the sensor at the top of the downpipe isn't a lambda but a "cat on fire" sensor, whch you wont be needing with new downpipe unless it has a cat on it. I just blocked up this top hole and car runs sweet. Not so sure bout the bottom sensor but mine doesnt have that either.
